Eriq Gardner is a leading legal journalist and a founding partner at Puck, where he writes the widely read weekly column What I’m Hearing+ and appears regularly on the podcast The Powers That Be. Known for his sharp analysis of the intersection between law, media, and power, Gardner covers high-stakes litigation shaping Hollywood and the broader entertainment, media and tech industries.

Before joining Puck, he served as legal editor at The Hollywood Reporter, where he built a reputation for breaking news and delivering incisive coverage of complex issues including defamation, intellectual property, and antitrust. His reporting has also appeared in outlets such as Bloomberg, Slate, and New York Magazine, and he is a frequent on-air commentator for major television networks.

Gardner is the recipient of numerous honors, including Journalist of the Year from the Los Angeles Press Club. He is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

Molly Lens is Co-Head of O’Melveny’s Entertainment and Media Industry Group. She is a versatile and accomplished lawyer with a broad litigation practice that spans a variety of areas, including entertainment, employment, intellectual property, business torts, and unfair competition. Clients routinely turn to Molly to represent them not only in high-profile litigation but also to advise them on sensitive internal matters, including allegations of misconduct and discrimination. Molly also devotes her time to pro bono matters.

Molly has been recognized as a leading entertainment litigator by The Hollywood ReporterVarietyLaw360, and The Legal 500. She has also been named to the “Top 250 Women in Litigation” list by Benchmark Litigation and among the “Most Influential Women Lawyers” in Los Angeles by The Los Angeles Business Journal.
